Cannabis Infused Granola

Making homemade Granola is so much easier than you may think. Making it a tasty Cannabis Infused snack is even easier! This healthy Cannabis Infused Granola is the perfect little treat, and can be used in a ton of different ways. You can add it to yogurt or ice cream, make it a cereal, or just enjoy as a healthy snack.

I love recipes where you can put your own spin on dish, and make it your own. A fun thing about this recipe is you can add so many different flavors, and textures, to make yourself the perfect infused treat. The recipe has a few basic ingredients you will need, then the rest you can change or mix up. You will need Oats, Cannabis Infused Coconut Oil, Honey, and Nuts. Those are the four basic items to add to your Infused Granola recipe, the rest you can change up!

I personally love to add dried blueberries, dried cranberries when making Granola. If blueberries and cranberries aren’t your favorite thing, any type of dried fruit will taste amazing. Mangos, Apricots, Figs, or Peaches are just a few dried fruit options that would tasty amazing added to granola.

You can also make it sweeter by adding chocolate. I like to add a little chocolate in before baking, that way the chocolate melts and turns the Granola into a more Chocolate Granola. Sometimes I also add chocolate chips after baking, if I want extra sweetness. You can also add any type of nuts, to give an amazing crunch. I love adding Almonds, Pecans, or even Sunflower seeds. Pretty much any type of nut will taste amazing when added.

Granola Tips

We infused this recipe with Cannabis Coconut Oil. The cool thing about this recipe is there are a few different ways you can infuse it. If you want to make some extra potent Granola, you can use multiple methods of infusing! You can easily add Cannabis Infused Honey for a double infusion. Making Infused Honey is quick and simple, and has a ton of great benefits. Here is a simply Infused Honey recipe.

It may be best to add your dried fruit as the last step to your Granola. I add the blueberries and cranberries before baking, but that is because I know how they cook and taste after cooking. Some of the dried fruit may burn in the oven, so if you use anything besides the blueberries and cranberries, it would be best to add the fruit at the end.

Keep the Infused Granola stored in an air tight container, at room temperature. It will last a few weeks if stored properly.

Let your Infused Granola totally cool down before digging in! After you remove it from the oven, it will continue to crisp up while it cools down. Even though you may want to dig in right away, wait until it is totally cool!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cannabis coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup honey or infused honey

  • 1 cup almonds or any nuts

  • 1/2 cup dried blueberries

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 cups oats, old fashioned or rolled oats are best

Directions

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  • Melt the Cannabis Coconut Oil. In a large bowl add the Coconut Oil, Honey, Salt, and Cinnamon and mix to combine.
  • Add the Oats and Almonds into the bowl and stir until the the oats are evenly coated. You can add more oats if needed, or more honey if needed!
  • If you are using cranberries and blueberries you can mix those in now. If you are using any other type of dried fruit, do not add the fruit in yet.
  • Spread the granola onto the lined baking sheet, and cook for 10 minutes. Remove and stir. Cook for another 8-10 minutes or until the granola is a light golden brown.
  • If you did not add the fruit yet, add the fruit now. Sprinkle the fruit on top, and tamp it down into the granola. Allow the Granola to totally cool. Keep stored in an air tight container at room temperature. Enjoy!
