How Do You Make MCT Oil at Home in a Crockpot?

I am a huge tinctures fan! Mainly because of it’s simplicity and how effective it can be. In 2021 we here at CannaCook wanted to start showing our users how to use concentrates. Also known under names like Sugars, Crumble, Budders/Butters, Shatter, ect.. all of it so far seems very easy to work with. Just check out this easy and potent infused MCT oil!

This is one of the easiest recipes to make at home. If you want to ensure this also contains CBD, please ensure to use some decarboxylated hemp during the crock-pot process.

Ingredients

  • .05-1 g concentrates (adjust according to strength)

  • 1/2 cup organic MCT Oil (adjustable)

  • cheesecloth & strainer

  • strainer

  • mason jar

Directions

  • Pour 10 to 12 oz of Organic MCT Oil into the glass measuring cup.
  • Add decarboxylated concentrates to the 1/2 cup of organic mct oil.
  • Add a few inches of water to the crock-pot.
  • Cover the glass measuring cup with foil.
  • Put measuring cup containing the oil and concentrates into the crock-pot. Turn the crock-pot on “low”.
  • After 2 to 4 hours remove the glass measuring cup.
  • If you want to strain the mixture with strainer and cheesecloth, feel free. This step is actually optional. It isn’t really necessary to strain this.
  • Pour your now infused organic mct oil into a tincture bottle or in a mason jar and store in a cool dark place.
