Learn How To Make Cannabis Gummies

These cannabis infused gummies are infused with THC Coconut Oil. They are one of our most requested recipes! It is actually much easier than people realize to make weed gummies! Note that you can also use CBD infused Coconut Oil if you want CBD Infused Gummies. If you already know how to infuse Coconut Oil, just skip down to the recipe card below. Otherwise, here is a simple THC Infused Coconut Oil recipe listed below. Decarboxylating instructions and recipe video are also below.

Decarboxylation Of Cannabis

Decarb (Oven Decarb)

Grind and decarboxylate cannabis in an oven safe dish (or baking sheet), in an oven preheated to 240° F for 15-25 minutes (times vary depending on your oven). Using a Thermometer Gun really helps with this.

Decarbcarboxylation (Mason Jar Method)

Grind the cannabis, and add the cannabis into the mason jar. Place a tight fitting lid onto the mason jar and place on its side in the oven at 220° F for 60 minutes (70-80 minutes for hemp and cbd infusion).

Infusing Coconut Oil For Weed Gummies

Preheat oven to 250°
Combine the decarboxylated cannabis and coconut oil in oven safe container and mix. Place a water bath in the oven, along with the Cannabis and Coconut Oil mixture. Cook for 1 hour. Remove and stir. Recover and cook for an additional 45 minutes. Remove the oil from oven and let cool for a couple minutes. After it has cooled, strain your mixture through a fine mesh strainer and cheesecloth… Press the oil out of the cannabis. Store in an air tight container, in the fridge.

  7. When you are infusing your coconut oil can you double triple the recipe? Do you have to infuse longer if you do this ??

    • Christopher Miles

Yes you can absolutely increase the potency… I would increase at the beginning but as long as you decarboxylate you can continue to infuse it more heavily. Another option to consider is using Kief and or Concentrates along with flower if you are really wanting to increase the potency. Enjoy!

  8. My gummies didn’t turn out as expected by using your recipe, turns out you’re suppose to add lectin so the water and oil mixes which you do Not mention! Thx for that…

    • Christopher Miles

I’m sorry to hear your recipe didn’t turn out as expected. When we first began making edibles in 2019, we experimented with Soy Lecithin… We found the taste to be unpleasant. Fortunately Coconut oil has plenty of fat for the THCa to bind to in this recipe… so we don’t use Soy Lecithin in our recipe. We have made this exact recipe hundreds of times with no issue and the results were phenomenal. Take care!
