Learn how to make your own cannabis infused organic MCT oil in this easy to follow recipe! In Arkansas, it seems most of the tinctures you will find in dispensaries are made from MCT Oil. It’s much more cost-effective to make your own tinctures. Plus you can determine the potency you want to have and use the strains you prefer. In order to make your own CBD tincture, simply substitute hemp instead of cannabis.
What is Organic MCT Oil?
MCT oil is a supplement made from a type of fat called medium-chain triglycerides. MCT molecules are smaller than those in most of the fats you eat (long-chain triglycerides [LCT]). This makes them easier to digest. You can absorb MCT in your bloodstream quickly. This turns it into energy you can use. Source – Click Here

Commonly Asked Questions THC Organic MCT Oil Tincture:
Why must I decarboxylate? Won’t the cannabis decarboxylate when it’s in the crockpot? We have used a laser thermometer during this recipe before and the average temperature stays between 180-185 F in our crock-pot. That would not be warm enough to decarb the cannabis, which needs to reach 220 F to bring out the THCA.
Can I use another Carrier Oil For My Tincture? Yes absolutely, we choose to use Organic MCT oil because our local dispensaries use it here. Check out our Infusing Oils 101 article to find out how to infuse other oils for tinctures.
