Easy Kief Butter Recipe

What is Kief exactly? It’s all those tiny, sticky crystals that cover cannabis flower. Also known as dry sift or pollen. Marijuana Kief is one the easiest ways to increase the potency of an infused butter or any recipe really. For us in Arkansas, it’s hard to come across Kief to purchase, so what I do is use a grinder for all of my cannabis flower, on the bottom the grinder is a kief catcher. After I let my kief build up for a month or two, I am able to store enough to use in a recipe!

Easy Infused Kief Butter Recipe! Super Easy Recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 grams decarbed kief

  • 4 sticks unsalted butter

  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • Add 2 cups water, and put on medium heat
  • Add the four sticks of butter and let melt
  • Add Kief and stir well, let cook for 1 hour. Stir every 10-15 minutes
  • After the hour, using a strainer and cheesecloth strain the Cannabis and Butter mixture
  • Put in fridge for a minimum of 5 hours
  • Once the top layer of butter is hard, take a knife and cut the top layer of butter. Add butter to a new dish, throw away the remaining water that is under the butter.
  • Stick in microwave and melt the butter. Store in the fridge, covered.
  • Once it has hardened up again, it is ready to use for cooking!
