Cannabis Infused Banana Bread

Most recipes I’ve come across for banana bread are loaded with white flour and refined sugar. This cannabis infused banana bread recipe, however, is super healthy! It’s even vegan friendly 🙂




⅓ cup melted infused coconut oil
½ cup pure natural maple syrup
2 flax eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 ½ medium or 2 large bananas)
¼ cup almond milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ¾ cups whole wheat flour

Optional: ½ cup mix-ins like chopped walnuts or pecans, chocolate chips, raisins, chopped dried fruit, fresh banana slices, etc.

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Prepare flax eggs and let sit.
3. Add coconut oil and maple syrup to bowl or food processor.
4. Once flax eggs have started to get ‘jelly like’, add to the bowl and mix.
5. Add mashed bananas and milk, and mix. (If your coconut oil solidifies on contact with cold ingredients, simply let the bowl rest in a warm place for a few minutes, like on top of your stove, or warm it for about 10 seconds in the microwave.)
6. Add the baking soda, vanilla, salt and cinnamon, and blend.
7. Add flour and mix, scrapping down sides as needed.
8. Stir in raisins or nuts, then pour into 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan.
9. Bake 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Let the bread cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
